Tuesday Night Ladies League Rules

  1. TEE DECKS
    All members play from the Red Tee decks

  2. PICK CLEAN AND PLACE
    Players can choose to pick clean and place their ball prior to any shot on all fairways, rough and waste bunkers (Central 2, 3, 6, 7)!
    Pick Clean and Place does not apply to Sand Traps and Red Staked Areas.
    Inclement weather – specific rules will be made that evening – please check with Starter (Wet Bunkers)

  3. BUNKER PLAY
    Players must play their ball as it lies!
    Players may take a practice swing or ground their club making contact with the sand prior to their shot with No Penalty

  4. PUTTING GREEN – FLAG IN FLAG OUT?
    Players have the option to leave the flag in or out on all putts
    If a ball rests against a flagstick in the hole and part of the ball is below the level of the lip, the ball will be considered holed, even if the entire ball is not below the surface. There is no longer a requirement to move the flagstick to see if the ball falls into the hole.
    The ball may be simply picked up.
    If the flag is tended, it must be removed as soon as the putt has been struck. Failure to do so, if the ball hits the flag stick while still in the hole, there is a 1 Stroke Penalty

  5. FLOWER BEDS
    Players may to take a free lift from all flower beds no closer to the hole with No Penalty

  6. RED STAKES - LEAGUE DESIGNATED LATERAL HAZARD (see map)
    Determine point of entry into league designated hazard. If player does not want to attempt a shot from the hazard take two club
    lengths from the hazard; place a tee in the ground. (A third club length can be used if your ball doesn’t clear the cart path). Hands
    place your ball next to the tee representing your drop from the hazard. 1 Stroke Penalty.

  7. CHOOSING TO PLAY OUT OF LEAGUE DESIGNATED HAZARD
    The player may take one practice stroke prior to attempting a shot with no penalty. All loose impediments may be removed without moving the ball.
    Choosing to play inside a hazard, 1 Stroke is counted for every attempt to hit the ball out.
    If the player determines the ball to be unplayable after attempting to play out of the hazard an additional 1 Stroke Penalty applies for a drop out of the hazard.

  8. WHITE STAKES
    All white stakes are governed by the Red Stake Rules.

  9. PAR 3 DROP AREAS
    There are two Par 3 designated drop areas on the course – Central 5 and Island 8. Players must use the designated drop area
    when their ball is unplayable due to the water hazard. 1 Stroke Penalty.

  10. PYLON DROP AREAS
    Pylons are in effect South 1 and South 3. For any tee shot that enters a league designated lateral hazard before the pylon, your third shot must be taken from the designated pylon drop area. The ball can be hand placed one club length no nearer the hole. 1 Stroke Penalty. All subsequent shots from pylon through to green are governed by the red stake rules.1 Stroke Penalty.
    Any tee shot that is hit past the pylon and enters a lateral hazard the player does not have the option to hit from the pylon drop area. Determine point of entry into League Designated Hazard and proceed with 2 club length drop. 1 Stroke Penalty.

  11. Property Lines:
    No shots can be made outside the designated golf course property line (Neighbors properties or on any roadways)!

  12. Reminders:
    All Strokes Must Be Counted and You Must Putt Out....No Gimmies!!!
